• Alabama Supreme Court upholds sex toy ban

Really just stupid all around. Apparently you can own a dildo,  you can use a dildo, but you can’t buy, sell or advertise a dildo. Here’s the kicker:

“As the 11th Circuit pithily and somewhat coarsely stated: `There is nothing `private’ or `consensual’ about the advertising and sale of a dildo,’” the majority opinion said.

Nothing consensual? No one has ever bought a dildo without the threat of violence? I wonder if they know what the word means.
